Community Relations Scheme
We pride ourselves on our Community Relations Schemes which we feel are an important part of who we are as a company. Last year we decided that it would be appropriate to approach local primary schools in the area to donate and plant oak trees during National Tree Week.
We hoped this would encourage children to understand the importance of preserving the natural environment and we were thrilled at the response we had from local schools. In the end we visited and planted a tree at seven primary schools in the Redruth area.
In the future we hope to build on increasing awareness for the environment and sustainability by asking children to write about what they think the world will be like when the Oak trees are fully grown.
